Sydney Pride organisers are currently seeking applications for a diverse range of events to be part of this fabulous Month!
The theme for this year is "Compassion and Courage," represented by a vibrant heart. To help spread the spirit of Pride, participating businesses will receive Pride-themed decals and posters. This year, we're hosting a Shopping with Pride Day to bring customers to your stores, as well as a Darlo Big Night Out to celebrate Pride and diversity. And we’ve got some great competitions! Read on for more ideas for your business to get involved in Sydney Pride Month!

Best Decorations Competition
“Decorate your Venue” open to all shops, offices, restaurants and bars. Show your support for Pride by decorating your business - start with our supplied decal and posters and add your own flair - let's make our town a rainbow of inclusivity and acceptance! Win an advertising package with Sydney Star Observer for the best decorated business. 1st prize: $5000 worth of advertising for the ‘Best Pride Decorations’. Plus, if you're a registered member of the Pride Business Charter before 1st June, you'll have the chance to win a private Stonewall function valued at $2000. Register by 4th June.

Pride Shopping Day
Join us on Saturday, June 22nd for Pride Discount Day. Offer special discounts to customers who mention "Pride" when shopping, and consider hosting extra stalls in your venue to make the day even more festive.
If you are a venue keen to hold extra Stalls on the day we would love to hear from you. Deadline to register 24th May.

Darlo Big Night Out
Alert the group chats, set your alarms and gather the girls, gays and theys because on Friday 28th June, we’re heading out!
It’s time to remind Sydney that Oxford Street and our beloved queer venues are our safe spaces. – being fiercely visible, proud and ready for a night out. Register your event by 24th May - there is a $2500 prize to be won for best event!

Stonewall Presents Pride Social
Stonewall Hotel will host various events throughout the month, including the Pride Wheel during Happy Hour on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays, as well as "Pick a Purse with Felicity" on Fridays from 7pm to 9pm. Local business prizes will be featured in each purse, providing a fantastic opportunity for exposure.

Host a Fundraiser
Consider hosting a fundraiser for a specific charity during Pride Month. It's a fantastic way to give back to the community and show your support for important causes and will make a meaningful difference to many.
